  • The bubonic plague were fleas that hitched a ride on the camels that were carrying goods to the towns.

  • The virus spread through rats.

  • With no cure, people were dying.
  • 
  • Everyone started to pray to god. They thought that it was his way of punishing them and that if they were good people they wouldn't get hurt.
  • People quarantined for up to 40 days to get rid of the plague. This was one of the more 'normal' cures, but they still wouldn't survive.
  • The Bubonic Plague killed 25 million people in the end, which was almost a third of the continents population. The Black Death lingered on for centuries, particularly in cities. Outbreaks include the Great Plague of London (1665-66), in which 70,000residents died.
