  • Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi was born on 2 October 1869, Porbandar, Gujrat, India.
  • After Barely passing his exams, M.K Gandhi trained to be a lawyer in Britain
  • Now He was a trained lawyer, Gandhi went to South Africa and set up his own business
  • There he didin't know that there were different coach for different people. So he accidently booked a coach which was only for white people. A britisher saw him and threw him out of the running train.
  • After he saw and experience all the discrimination he started to protest in a non violent way. One of his protests are the dandi march.
  • India was free from the britishers. However there were still people who disagreed with Gandhi and so on 30th January 1948 Gandhi was shot 3 times in the chest by nathuram godse . he died at the age of 78.
