- She wandered into a forest, she spent the night in a old nest.
- One time there was a cat about to have kittens, but she was unwanted by her owners so they left her on the side of a road.
- When she woke up she heard a bluesy howl of a dog.
- The cat followed the sound until she saw a old tilted house.
- Then she went up to the dog, the dog’s name was Ranger The dog and the cat became friends and they lived underneath the tilted house. Ranger warned about Gar Face the mean man who lived in the house.
- The evil man Gar Face drove the cats to a river and he dumped the bags into the river.
- Ranger said to leave because it was dangerous but the calico cat stayed and enjoyed the company of the old hound.

- The cat had its kittens.
- The hound Ranger, and the cat named the girl cat Sabine and the boy cat Puck
- So Puck went to the border of the underneath, and then he leapt out into the open.
- One day puck woke up early, he tried to wake up his sister but he had failed.
- The evil man Gar Face grabbed puck but just then the mama cat woke up and went after Puck, Gar Face grabbed her to.
- Yeeooowwww!!
- The mama cat told Puck that she loved him more than anything and also made Puck promise to break the chain that held ranger to the tilted house. She licked the crescent moon on his forehead.
- Gar Face stuck them in a brown sack and carried them out into his old rusty truck.
- I love you.
- The mama cat pushed Puck along and kept saying swim when Puck got out of the river he thought his mama was right behind him, but when he turned around he didn’t see his mama all he saw was a hummingbird.
- Swim!
- Puck knew he had to find away across the creek back to the underneath.
- Mean while Puck found a place to sleep and stuff to eat.
- Back at the underneath Ranger pulled and pulled against the chain the kept him tied to the tilted house he did it so much that his neck got sore from rubbing against the chain.
- One time while puck was hunting for mice he saw something run up a tree. It was a squirrel.
- Puck saw the squirrel jump from the tree on one side of the creek to another.
- Puck jumped and didn’t make it, he fell and he got scratched by one of the branches on his way down he landed on his feet as all cats do but he got his breath knocked out of him.
- Puck was walking following the trail when he saw a hummingbird, he chased it all the way up a tree.
- So Puck thought that would be a great way to get from one side of the creek to another.
- Then suddenly Gar Face grabbed Sabine and then Ranger jumped up into Gar Face’s face and bit his ankle and made him slip and drop sabine. Ranger howled in anger.
- It was raining. A little while later Ranger and Sabine where out one day while it was raining and Ranger just got fed without his usual kick from Gar Face. Sabine thought today will be a good day. She hopped up on a board and started grooming herself.
- Puck was in the water when he heard a voice say swim, when he realized that it was his sister he did.
- Puck was sleeping at the hole that was at the base of the tree when suddenly he heard a sound and then he ran.
- The tree fell. Puck was in shock. Puck soon realized that the tree was making a bridge to the other side of the creek. So he went to where he heard Rangers howls .
- Sabine was hiding in a bush when she saw ranger get hit with the board that she was sitting on. Then Gar Face took the chain off and dragged ranger to the swamp as bait, because Gar Face wanted to catch the alligator king.
- Puck got to the tilted house but no one was there. Puck saw a trail of blood, he followed it.
- There was one problem though Ranger still had the chain around his neck.
- Ranger and Gar Face walked. Stopping every so often to rest. When they got there Gar Face tied the chain to a tree and waited.
- Gar Face saw Sabine go over to ranger and pulled out his rifle to try to shoot her but puck yelled at the top of his lungs and scared Gar Face.Gar face pointed his gun toward the noise and shot but it hit the snake that was trying to eat puck.
- Yeeoooowww!
- Puck jumped onto Gar Face’s head all claws extended,Gar face grabbed puck and pulled him off his head and with one hand held puck and the other put water on his face. Gar Face was blinded by the pain.
- The Last thing Gar Face saw was the jaws of the alligator close around his neck.
- ll of them needed sleep but they couldn’t because there was dangers to it in the woods.
- Swim Puck, swim
- The trees saw the two kitten in need and made everything sleepy, and everything slept.
- They woke and Ranger thought he was seeing double but he actually saw Puck and Sabine.
- Puck was looking for a way to break the chain when a snake came up to him, the same one that got shot. She stared at them for a while the bit the chain off.
