  • we have 5 friends and 5 sweets, so we want to share these sweets amongst these 5 friends
  • we are going to go outside for a practical activity
  • we are done distributing sweets equally among 5 friends, we can see that each child got 1 sweet
  • we then give each child a sweet
  • Now, let's draw our 5 friends
  • sometimes when we share we end up with something on the side, which is called a remainder.
