- Hello! I'm Nataniel the Zebra. I'll be here to explain Darwin's theory of evolution by natural selection as it applies to the zebra to you.
- Zebras are overpopulated—they're everywhere! Zebra populations are increasing faster than the ecosystem can support.
- Zebras display variety in their appearance. Some may be all-black or all-white, while others may have black and white stripes or stripes of varying shades.
- Hello friends! You guys are looking marvelous. We are different but alike!
- Zebras must change to live in their habitat. Strong teeth are needed to cut through stiff grass and branches, and zebras have long, powerful legs for running. Zebras also utilize their stripes to camouflage themselves from predators, like lions.
- The zebra's stripes served as a kind of concealment against lions and other predators, which led to natural selection. Since lions cannot distinguish between different colors, zebras can survive since lions cannot.

- There are three different zebra species in the world: the Mountain Zebra, the Plains Zebra, and the Grevy's Zebra. However, throughout thousands of years, melanin production has changed due to genetic changes, leading to the emergence of uncommon spotted and oddly striped zebras.
