- Step 7: ApproachOrpheus locates Hades and his wife, Perspehone in Hades' Palace.
- Step 8: OrdealOrpheus convinces the King and Queen of death to let Eurydice go back to the living world with him.
- Please let Eurydice go! You two know what it's like to be in love! And Eurydice and I will both die eventually, so why not her more time with me?
- You have a point, Orpheus.
- Step 9: RewardOrpheus is granted his wish! But under one condition...
- That shouldn't be too hard. Thank you!!
- I will allow her to go with you, but while she travels back with you, you must not look at her. Not even once.
- Step 10: The Road BackOrpheus and Eurydice begin to make their way home. Orpheus only hears his wife's footsteps. He is not completely sure that she is behind him, but he does not dare look back.
- We're almost there, my love- EURYDICE!!!
- ORPHEUS!!!
- Step 11: ResurrectionAlmost the opposite of its name happens in this step for the poor couple. After seeing a glimmer of sunlight, Orpheus turns around to face his wife. She begins to travel back down to Hades and Persephone.
- Step 12: Return with ElixirIn Orpheus's case, the "elixir" is a life of sadness without his wife. After a long while, the Maenads kill Orpheus.
