- The Witches Prophecy
- Oh Macbeth! You shall become the Thane of Cawdor and King!
- What???
- The Prophecy Comes True
- All hail the Thane of Glamis and Cawdor
- The Murder
- I will never be able to sleep again.
- Oh pull yourself together
- Macbeth visits three witches and they tell him that he will become the Thane of Cawdor and King one day. They also tell Banquo that his sons will become Kings. This confuses both Banquo and Macbeth but they still think about it.
- Macduff's Suspicion
- They killed him!
- Two royal guards find Macbeth after the witches disappear and tell him that he is now the thane of both Glamis and the thane of Cawdor. Macbeth realizes that the witches had foretold the future so from then on he believed them with all of his heart. Including the part where they said he was going to become king.
- The Heirs Flee
- As soon as lady Macbeth finds out about the prophecy she is determined to make it come true. She eventually manages to convince Macbeth to kill King Duncan so that he could become king. Macbeth kills Duncan whilst the King was a guest at his house and then blamed the servants. After this event he becomes traumatized and after complaining to his wife is told to pull himself together.
- Macbeth is crowned King
- Macduff comes looking for King Duncan in the Morning and is devastated when he finds him murdered. Macduff demands to know what happens and Macbeth lies to him by blaming the servants. Part of Lady Macbeth's plan was to get all of the servants in the house drunk before the murder happened, after the murder she smeared Duncan's blood on them and made them hold a bloody dagger. Macduff suspects that Macbeth was actually the one that killed the king.
- Where is the king?
- King Duncan's two sons - Malcolm and Donalbain - flee the country in fear of getting killed too. Donalbain flees to Ireland and Malcolm flees to England.
- Macbeth goes to scone to finally be crowned king. The witches full prophecy had come true. This was a problem for Macbeth as the witches had also said that Banquo's sons will become kings too.
