Enkidu is jealous of Gilgamesh and him having Shamat. He wants to be with Shamat.

Enkidu and Gilgamesh fight! Gilgamesh is surprised at how strong Enkidu is.

Gilgamesh wins the fight but Enkidu is not angry about it. This was almost as if it was a battle among brothers.
