- Trade unions serve a societal function as well. Here are some examples of Trade Unions In South Africa:-Food Allied Workers Union (FAWU)-National Education, Health and Allied Workers Union (NEHAWU)-Independent Municipal and Allied Workers Trade Union (IMATU)
- The Trade Unions main interests are the wages, benefits, conditions of employment, job security, employement practices, training and health and safety of all employees.
