- King Claudius announces his feather-bed to his courti'rs. That gent sayeth that gent mourns f'r his broth'r, but did marry his jointress to bringeth delighteth to Denmark. - The ghost tells Hamlet that he is his father's ghost. The ghost proceeds to tell Hamlet that his uncle Claudius had murdered him, and asks Hamlet to seek vengeance for his murder. The ghost tells Hamlet to allow God to punish her mother.
