The Rock Cycle

- Once upon a time, magma was just heatin' up inside a volcano. Suddenly a magma heard a big rumble. Everything was shaking. The volcano had erupted. The magma had been thrown into the air.
- Quickly it ran down the volcano, but it was very tiring. Magma decided to take a break. It came to a halt. Very quickly magma started to stiffen up. It was cooling. Not long later it had transformed into an igneous rock. The igneous rock was chillin' on the outside of the volcano.
- After years of not being able to defend themselves from weathering and erosion, the igneous rock had made its way to the sea. After swimming around for a bit the igneous rock finally made its way to the bottom of the seabed.
- After being very squished by all the other sediments the rock had finally been compacted and cemented together. Now it was an igneous rock.
- After being buried deep underground by loads of dirt, the sedimentary rock was facing lots of heat and pressure. It was too bad that it will have to be like this for the next few centuries.
- Finally after way too long the sedimentary rock had been turned into a metamorphic rock! "The cycle was a rollercoaster, but all worth it. Oops looks like I've got to go. The eruption will be happening any minute now. It was great taking you on my journey see you so-."
