- What are totems? What are teepees?
- A totem is an object or depiction of an animal or plant that are often carved into wooden poles. It also serves as an emblem of a group of people, such as a family, clan, etc.A teepee is a conical tent that was used by the North American Indians of the Plains and Great Lakes regions. These tents were made out of animal pelts, canvas, and cloth.
- If you were alive then, would you want to live in a teepee? Explain why or why not.
- If I was alive then, I would want to live in a teepee because it would give me the opportunity to explore, experience, and adapt to a new culture.
