- Hi! My name is Starr Carter. I live in black neighborhood here. I am 16 years old and attending to Williamson Prep where all white students go there.
- Nowhere in roads
- Khalil! Be follow what police wants you to do.
- My parents' names are Lisa and Maverick aka Big Mav and my siblings' names are Seven and Sekani the kid who most annoying in this family. And our family dog's name is Brickz!
- Khalil's Death Scene
- Here's my school where my brother Seven and I go to there. Later that night, I went to the party in my neighborhood. It was very exhausting for me to be two different persons in two different worlds.
- Grand Jury Day
- My old childhood, Khalil, who I had not seen him for a long time, so I was finally having a chance to see him at the party in someone's house. Then somebody got shot in there and Khalil took me out of that house and gave me a ride to home. We got a pullover by the police.
- What the hell did I do? Because I am black or what?
- I saw Khalil was just following officer's orders then all of sudden, a white police officer shot him in three times. He did not deserve that, nor did his family. I just had a conversation with him to catch up with news. Now, he is gone and will never alive again.
- Eight weeks ago, Khalil's death was occurred. I gave my best testify as I could as I defended Khalil and my black community. They count on me. I learned how to use my voice to against a white police officer who unlawfully acted in that night.
