This story is about Millie. Millie was the biggest fish in the lake, while her ancestors were the prey, she became the predator.
Natural Selection
Millie´s parents had a lot of offspring and with a process called descent with modification.
Adaptation
Millie had a genetic variation that made her stand out within her brothers and sisters. All of her siblings were small and she was the only big one.
The End
But not all of the fish in the lake were the same. Some fish were bigger than Millie´s siblings so her siblings became their prey. Since Millie had a genetic mutation caused by adapting to her habitat and being able to survive better, that made her bigger, the other fish couldn´t eat Millie but instead, Millie ate them.
While Millie´s siblings were eaten, Millie survived and she met another big fish named Carl. Millie and Carl had offspring with Millie´s and Carl´s genes that made them big.
Now I am so happy that I was different from my siblings
Millie lived happily for the rest of her days with her big family of big fishes.
