  • Slavery has been an ideal for too long! We must end it!
  • These people are suffering. They are humans who had their rights stripped.
  • America needs to evolve past slavery! We are supposed to be free!
  • In late 1700s America, slavery was widely accepted and used across the country.
  • Not only that, but it greatly impacts the economy since the Slave Trade was stopped.
  • We have dealt with slavery long enough! It is time for change!
  • Slavery is unethical!
  • In the early 1800s, the rise of the Cotton Kingdom causd a greater demand from southern farms, and cheap slavery labor was seen as the best way to go.
  • The life of the nation is only secure while the nation is honest, thoughtful, and virtuous.
  • Eventually, people in the north calledabolitionists began to question slavery and created organizations against it.
  • If the abolitionists can fight for what they think is right, so can we!
  • Yeah!
  • As the mid-1800s began, many anti-slavery movements had sparked and many Americans, most in the north, believed that slavery should be ended.
  • Many famous figures rose from this reform. One would be Frederick Douglass who spoke in public and created his own newspaper.
  • This reformation of slavery sparked other reformations such as the Woman's Rights Movement. It also helped form ideas that eventually did lead to the abolition of slavery.
