- Mesopotamia was the land between the two rivers the tigris and Euphrates river. The river would flood once a year and create silt. Mesopotamia is now located in present day Iraq, Kuwait, and Syria.
- Politics
- The Mesopotamains worshiped hundreds of gods. They built ziggurats to worship the gods. They gave the goods food, gold and other treasures.
- Economics
- They're many achievements that mesoptiamains did for us. They created writing as cuneiform. They invented time and math.They invented time by going by the number 60. Math was invented to describe the physical world around us.

- In the sumer era, they had city-states. The city states are a monarchy. A monarchy is one place ruled by one ruler. the ruler has absolute power.
- The mesopotamain society was based of on bartering. Bartering is the trade. of good or resources. Mesopotamia traded with other societies for good they didn't have. They also sometimes uses currency.

- Social structure is your place in society. In mespotamia the slaves had no power. Workers had more power than slaves but not that much. Nobles and priests have more power than workers. The king has the most power.
