Ancient Egypt was a time in which a pharaoh was a god-king. Their religion was usually polythiestic. They also highly believed in afterlife.
Egypt is also mostly desert.
Mummies are a big part in afterlife. A Mummy is the body of a person or animal that has been preserved after death. Mummification was a complicated and long process and it was usually only available to people with lots of wealth.
Wow that's interesting!
The Nile river provided ancient Egyptians fertile land because along the Nile river the soil is very rich. It also flooded some land which created the black land which is rich farming land and places that were not flooded were the red land which was very dry. They also used the irrigation system to get the water to the crops. Another thing that the Nile had were cataracts the cataracts were shallow white water rapids
I never knew that.
The Nile river ran up from lower Egypt to upper Egypt Menes, A pharaoh of the early dynasty times lived in upper Egypt. He then married the princes of lower Egypt to unify them both.
Thanks for telling me that!
