The lamp on the wall is releasing light energy that travels

in waves, brightening up my bedroom.

By sitting on my bed, I am engaging in gravitational potential energy . My position on the bed is the cause of this.

The mass of me is about 50kg, so I measure 50kg of matter.

I am running at 20mph, which is my constant speed. It is the rate at which I am able to move.

I am running the track for cross country. By doing so, I am using kinetic energy- which is energy motion

I ran from one point of the track, to the end of it. That is an example of the mechanical energy. I moved from one place to another.

I am brushing my knotted hair. I apply force from my hand, to the brush, to my hair, untangle it, which is elastic potential energy.

My phone is an example of electrical energy. Electrons are moving through out my phone through a wire called electricity in order to make it function properly.

I am playing music on my phone, the sound is moving from the speakers in the form of waves. That's an example of sound energy.
