- Cortes Arrives at Mexico
- BURN THE BOATS!
- Cabeza de Vaca becomes enslaved by the Native Americans
- Houses made of gold!?
- Pineda maps Texas coast line
- When Cortes arrived at Mexico, he told his men to burn the boats so they wouldn't kill him and return to Spain. He then continued to march through mexico, meeting the Aztecs, and eventually conquering the Aztecs and brining ruin to the city of Tenochtitlan
- La Salle arrives at Texas
- When Cabeza De Vaca arrived, he was quickly enslaved by the Natives Americans. He would see the Adobe homes in the distance, and in the sun he thought that they were made of gold. When he was let free, he told Spain that they had houses made of gold.
- Colombus arrives in the Americas
- When Pineda arrived, he mapped the coastline of Texas, and the whole gulf of Mexico.
- Pineda returns and claims Texas for Spain
- La Salle was actually intending on landing in the mouth of the Mississippi, but missed it and ended but landing in Texas, which he then claimed. Then he was murdered by his own men
- When Colombus arrived at America, he thought he was in India, since he thought he had landed in Asia, not a new continent.
- After Spain learned that France had claimed Texas, they returned and built forts and claimed it back.
