- The McCallister family is getting ready for their annual family vacation. Everyone is in a rush to get everything packed.

- Kevin is sent to the attic because he was fighting with his brother and ruined the family dinner. He is obligated to stay up there all night long. His mom is very upset and disappointed.
- Nobody is home... in this huge house.
