  • EQUALITY
  • Women are not property, we are simply human, humans who lack the same rights as other humans, or in this case as males. Humans have rights unless if you have a uterus according to men. Then those so called human rights don't apply.
  • We should be getting treated equally to men. We should be allowed to vote and own property!
  • Womens Rights Reform of 1960-70's By: Lyola Bontemps
  • ♀♀
  • You don't own me!
  • We won't stop until we see change! We will NOT be quiet!
  • I want to be able to go to school and get a job, instead of being a housewife, when I'm older!
  • WE WANT JUSTICE!!
  • This is Betty Friedan.
  • We need to come together, all women and support each other in times like these. Things will have changed a little bit but they haven't changed enough, they will never change to how we want them to, because we are women. But, women are strong.
  • Betty Friedan was a reformer for the Women's Rights reform of 1960-70. She was an activist for women's rights, targeting the problems with sexual harassment, equal pay and work, and the right to abortion. She made a big difference in women's lives. Then and now. Bella Abzug was a lawyer for an activist for women and a politician.
  • This is Bella Abzug.
  • Womens right's still being a problem to this day, not only then but now.
  • Homey, that's a very good question, a question I ask myself every day. Women are just as capable of doing the same things men do, I wasn't able to go to school or get a job because men thought that they knew best for the women and that women should know their place, like their place being in the house or kitchen with their mouths shut. And doing as they are told, honestly, I don't even really know how to answer your question, because I am not sure if there is an answer for why women get treated like we used to and still do to this day.
  • Mommy? Why do women get treated badly, and why couldn't you go to school like I can now or get a job?
