- I was a senior in high school when my teacher told the class we needed to pick a major. I was unsure what I wanted to do besides helping others.
- Falling Action
- I thought I could become a social worker at first. They helped children in need and I could be someone to try and fix the foster system.
- Finale
- Luckily, my best friend talked me out of it. She said social workers had it tough and instead to look into somewhere else where I could still make an impact with kids.
- So I thought for a while about what else I could do at home. Then, my other friend suggested I become a teacher like her. I never thought about it till I realized that it would be perfect.
- I liked her idea enough that I decided to apply for it on my college applications. I knew I made the right decision as I see how the children I work with grow with knowledge all the time.
