- Charlie and his friends are enjoying the party life with pumping music and an esky full of beers. Charlie has just turned 17 and received his P plates... so its freedom from there.
- As it hits 3:00 am the drunken teens start to head home. Charlie and two of his mates decide to head to his house.
- Another consequence is damage to the car, which Charlie will have to pay for as he is not under insurance.
- Another consequence of the crash is that Charlie has injured one of his friends and it has resulted in life threatening injuries.
- Police, fireman, and ambulance are quickly called to the scene by a nearby witness, Charlie and his two friends are rushed quickly to the hospital.
- Charlies friends get checked and they are all clear to go home, but Charlies bad decisions have resulted in a broken spinal cord. Charlie got tested for his blood alcohol level and it was overly high. Charlie's family is devastated to hear the news, they never knew their child would be that unresponisble.
