- God's promises to Abraham
- Abraham's descendants end up as slaves
- Moses frees Abraham's descendants
- God promises to Abraham and Sarah that he will gift them with children, but to make sure that Abraham trusts him, God makes them wait until Abraham is 100. He is given the same amount of descendants as the amount of stars in the sky.
- The 10 Commandments
- Abraham's descendants get taken as slaves in Egypt by Pharaoh.
- Israel arrives at the promised land
- Moses goes to Pharaoh in Egypt to make him free gods people. After Pharaoh disagrees, Moses sends 7 plagues to run through Egypt, and its not until Moses kills every first born child of the houses that didn't have blood painted on their front doors when pharaoh finally lets the people go. Moses takes the people and have to cross the red sea.
- Israel worships other Gods
- You shall not have other Gods before me, you shall not make idols, you shall not take the name of the lord in vein, remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy, honour your mother and father, you shall not murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal, you shall not bare false witness against your neighbour, you shall not covet. These are the 10 commandments that God gave to his people, they must guide these rules in return for him honouring them.
- After months of wondering the desert, Israel arrives at the promised land. After waiting so long, some people turned away from god and stopped believing that he would help them. It wasn't until god gave the people unlimited amounts of strange bread food when they turned back to him.
- Israel begins to worship other gods, for example the golden calf. This went against gods commandments.
