  • Congratulations all Parliament members. We have passed the Stamp Act. Now, hopefully, we can gain back some of the money we lost during the French and Indian War.

  • WHAT?! We are not buying newspapers with tax.

  • Hi, so, with the Stamp Act, you must pay tax and buy the "official" stamp with your paper.
  • I can't believe that the colonists aren't ordering anything from Britain because of the Stamp Act. We might loose our jobs! This is not good.
  • Pictured above is King George III congratulating the British Parliament for passing the Stamp Act in 1765.
  • We cannot take the Stamp Act any longer. We lost our jobs due to the colonist's boycotts. Please repeal the Stamp Act.
  • Pictured above is a British merchant trying to sell colonists newspapers. However, he was not able to sell them with the new tax that came with the Stamp Act. Due to this, the British merchant stopped making money and therefore lost his job.
