- we are in debt from fighting with France. we need a way to make more money so we can fund these fights... how about a tax?

- There's going to be a tax placed its placed upon the following items: coffee, sugar, wine, and cloth brought in from other countries
- Then well put out an army and put a series of laws that include: banning all town meetings that didnt have a governor approval, closed the Boston harbor and blockaded it with warships, and require colonists to quarter troops in their homes if need
- The French and Indian war

- We're still in debt the sugar tax wasn't enough, what about another tax...
- sir, the colonists already didnt like the sugar tax and are still protesting I think the protests would get worse
- The king deciding to put the sugar tax

- Once the colonist found out they were very upset about the entire thing and started protesting.
- The declaration of independence
- The king is putting the next tax which is called the townshed act it its items being taxed are: Tea, paint, lead, glass and paper
- The continental congress meeting
- The committee writing the Decleration of Independance. Once the committee finished and signed it out a lot of the colonists were happy and most problems are solved
