- Schooled Children's Edition by Lauren Wilson
- Cap is a young boy who lives with his Grandma Rain in a small town called Garlington. His Grandma Rain owns the town of Garland.
- Grandma, are you okay? What happend?
- No! I fell out of the tree. Please call for help!
- I'm with Child Services and you will be safe with your new family till your Grandma recovers. You will make new friends at your new school.
- Rain has been seriously hurt and is having to go through surgery and Rehab. Child Services has been called for Cap.
- I can't leave my Grandma alone. Please don't take me away.
- Cap was from a town called Garland. Garland has no other kids or public schools. He doesn't get the point of lockers.
- Why do you have to lock everything up? Why can't everyone just share?
- Hey Cap, I'm Zack I'll be showing you around school. These are lockers where you will be keeping your belongings.
- Cap doesn't understand that Mr. Kasigi doesn't literally mean talking back, so Cap gets sent to his office to be punished.
- Are you back talking me? Meet me in my office, now!
- Yes, I'm talking back to you. Can you not hear me? I'm trying to tell you how the fight started.
- What? No way! I never even signed up to be School President!
- Zack got everyone to vote for Cap so he could pick on him and embarrass him.
- Congratulation to Cap for winning School President. Can't wait to see all the new changes!
- Cap moved in with Mrs. Donnelly and her daughter Sophie. Sophie hates Cap so much that she dumped water on him when he went out the door.
- Okay Sophie, now put your blinker on. When you get to the stop sign make a complete stop.
- Is there anybody else that can teach me to drive but you?
- Cap showed Sophie how to drive since her dad wasn't home. Sophie was mean to Cap but eventually thanked him for everything.
- I'm driving him to the Hospital .He just had a heart attack
- Cap was riding the bus home when the driver had a heart attack. The police were chasing Cap but he didn't know to stop. He thought he needed to get the driver to the hospital. He was later arrested.
- Stop now! Pull over.
- Sorry I'm so late on giving you your birthday gift. Happy late birthday!
- Sophie's dad finally came home and brought her a late birthday present. He said he was going to get her name engraved on the necklace soon.
- Awe, a jewelry box and a necklace! Thank you!
- A lot of students were inspired by Caps t-shirts. Cap started a class for anyone interested in learning to tie dye.
- Hello everyone! Thanks for coming to my Tie Dye Shirt Class. We will start off by picking the item you want to tie dye.
- Sophie's dad actually never sent the necklace and Cap didn't want Sophie to be upset. Cap secretly used the schools Halloween check to get Sophie the exact necklace with her name on it. Cap gave it to her as if it was from her dad.
- Awe! My dad finally sent me my necklace with my name engraved on it! Yay!
- I have a little bit of money left over and I thought I would give it to you!
- Cap gave Naomi $1,000 check that was supposed to be for the Halloween Dance. After Cap gave her the money, everyone around clapped for him. Hugh saw Naomi kiss Cap and Hugh said he was done with Cap.
- Oh my gosh! Really? Thank you!!
- Okay Zack, what do you want to do to get payback?
- Hugh runs into Zack and Zack gets mad, at first. Then they decide to set up a plan that will ruin Caps popularity.
- Listen up Hugh. Since Cap is becoming popular, you and I have to stop it. Let's make a plan to embarrass him.
- Ouch! I've been tackled by the other team.
- Hugh and Zack set up a horrible plan to embarrass and hurt Cap. They purposely gave him the other teams jersey. He ended up getting hurt by his own team but didn't know why.
- Oh my gosh Rain! When did our town get so run down? I don't remember it looking like this.
- Cap, it's always looked like this! You are use to seeing the world outside of Garland. You forgot how it really is.
- Rain finally gets out of Rehab and picks up Cap to go back to Garland. Cap leaves Mrs.Donnelly a note to thank her for letting him stay with her.
- Okay Zack, I'll go make the flyers and then we will hand them out to everyone.
- Cap left C Average Middle School without anyone knowing. Everyone assumed he died from his injuries after getting tackled on the football field. Zack and Hugh set up a Memorial Service to honer him.
- Here's the plan, Hugh. We will make a fake invitation to mourn Caps death. Don't tell any teachers.
- Cap sneaks out of his house in Garland, after Rain tells him he can't go back to School. Sophie was going to find Cap to tell him thank you for the necklace. After they get to School they realize everyone is dressed like Cap to honor him.
- Oh, is that Sophie?! What are you doing driving way out here? You're almost to Garland!
- Cap. I nearly hit you! I came to see you! Get in! I'll drive you to the school Halloween Dance.
- Thank you everyone for coming. You can come up and say one nice thing that Cap did for you. I wish Cap could be here with us today.
- Cap thought he was going to the Halloween Dance but when he arrived, he realized it wasn't the Halloween Dance, it was his Memorial Service!
- Everyone! I'm right here! I didn't die!!
- Come on Cap! I sold Garland! You can go back to school again! We're moving!!
- When Cap got arrested for driving without a license, the officer told him that Garland had recently been sold so he wasn't able to drive in Garland without a license. He was going to tell Rain as soon as she picked him up but little did he know that rain had a plan the whole time. Cap got to go back to school and lived the rest of his life there.
- Really? Garland was your everything! You said you would never sell it. You did all this for me? Thank you!
