Roz is initially feared by all of the animals on the island, but soon proves herself to be a trusted member of the group. This is an imaginative, entertaining story about differences, friendship, and survival.

- Favorite Scene From The Wild Robot by Peter Brown
- My favorite scene is when Roz invites the animals into her hut when the weather is frigidly cold, and says that no one may harm or hunt one another while inside. This is similar to the "Dawn Truce". This is my favorite part because Roz is slowly, without realizing it, making the island a more peaceful place for all of the animals.
