- Jonathan:I think it is very important to read because it can inform us about what happened in to past For example, you can read a book about the history of America. Imagine if you never read a book or newspaper or even a magazine in your life. If you never read anything in your life it would kind of be hard to believe the things that happened in the world and you would have less knowledge.
- Mary:I think we read because it can inform you about many things. For example to keep you updated on the things going on around the world today, like the Corona Virus. You would want to know about the newest medicine or methods to get better. If you didn't know about the medicines, how could you get better?
- JoeWell, I think we read for many reasons also, one of them being so you can be informed on who you would want to vote for as president. In order to vote you have to know why you want to vote for the person. You also have to know why he or she would help out the country and what would make he/she a good president.
- Liam:I think we read because it is very peaceful and relaxing. It's relaxing because when you read you don't have a worry in the world. Reading can also make people more creative. For example, if they read a book and they like it, they might make a book of their own. Something that many people don't know is reading also makes you better at focusing. This is because when you're reading you will become more focused because you're into the book and concentrating on the words and ideas.
- Landon:I think we read because it's extremely educational, and you can pretty much learn anything with reading. Not only is it educational, but it's also fun to read if you enjoy the topic you are reading about. Reading also improves memory. It helps because when you're focused on the book you will remember the important parts of it.
