- What it does?
- The development of the Visionary Outlook device would communicate energy sources to the user to help them see their surroundings.
- How it works?
- With theVisionary Outlook device, the user wears a 'hearing-aid' like device and a pair of 'visionary' electronic glasses. The glasses capture and transmit information to the hearing aid where it is processed.
- Why it is needed?
- The hearing aid then transmits this information to both the brain and into the users eye to form images.
- The glasses capture information and mimic the users eye by refracting light and forming images, enabling the user to see shapes and colours.
- This innovation will enable vision impaired people to see the world around them.
