- My planet was discovered Saturn was discovered in 1610, by Galileo Galilee. He was the first to gaze at Saturn through a telescope.

- Saturn is an outer planet and its neighbors are Jupiter and Uranus.

- Saturn is about 75 thousand miles (120,000 km) in diameter and is almost ten times the diameter of Earth.
- Saturn has at least 62 moons. The largest, Titan, is slightly larger than Mercury, and is the second-largest moon in the solar system behind Jupiter's moon Ganymede.
