PERSPECTIVE Perspective is a narrator's attitudes or beliefs about an event, person, or place based on their own personal experiences.
As a recently-returned soldier from Iraq, Henry did not find the neighbors' fireworks enjoyable; in fact, they brought back memories of sudden rounds of fire from the enemy.
