- THE STORYIn the beginning there was a king whowas very greedy and had gone to war many times. He would burn down villages if they did not give him gold. One day he when he woke up a witch came to him and said "I can give you the power to turn things in to gold if you get me some lead,"Mites said, "very well go get this witch some lead" and the servants did when the witch received the lead, she gave him the power to turn things in to gold. When the witch left the first thing, he did was turn his kingdom in to gold everything he touched turned in to gold.When he went to war he fought with his hands and the soldiers turned into gold. Unfortunately, he fell into a depression and for some reason gold has lost its value to him. He felt like it was worth less he went to the witch and asked how he could get rid of this power. The witch told him to eat this lead apple and it will take away your powers away. However, the witch was lying to the king. She had actually poisoned the apple and it killed Mites.
