- On one hot and sunny summer, Melissa and Zack decided to go to the beach that isn’t too far from home. The first thing that Zack did was to put on sunscreen. He offered to Melissa sunscreen but she declined.
- But melissa, sunscreen helps your skin stay protected under UV lights! You can get sunburns, skin discoloration, age spots, or worse, skin cancer!
- Ew! I hate sunscreen! It feels gross to put on!
- That only happens to old people. Can we go now and play?
- I guess so....
- Over the years, Melissa notices a few small asymmetric moles. She thinks none of it and goes on with her life. More years past and the moles has envolved into an notched, blacken, big moles. She notices this and goes to her local dermatologist’s clinic.
- Hello Dr.Hart. I’ve been noticing over the past few years that i’ve been developing these odd looking moles. It is very asymmetrical and dark compared to my moles I usually get. *Melissa shows Dr.Hart her mysteriously looking mole
- Hello Melissa, what can i help you with?
- Exams? Like what?
- Yes! I can definitely look into this. I will be performing an couple of exams to see what the problem is.
