- God created the light and the darkness, the day and the night, the waters and the land, the fruits and the fish, the trees and the tigers, and finally he made man.
- From man, God took a rib and crafted it into woman, he named them "Adam" and "Eve"
- OH NO! WE'RE NAKED!!
- Adam and Eve could do whatever they wished in the garden EXCEPT eat from the tree of life.
- Due to the serpent's trickery, Adam and Eve took an apple from the tree

- Before eating the apple, Adam and Eve had no shame, but because they disobeyed the word of God, they now felt shame for their nakedness
- "The Lord God said to the serpent, "Because you have done this, cursed are you above all livestock and all wild animals! You will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life".... To the woman he said, "I will make your pains in childbearing very severe with painful labor you will give birth to children".... To Adam he said, "Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat food from it all the days of your life"" Gen. 3:14-17 (NIV)
