Hello! My name is Kishan . I live in a village. I live happily here with my family. My village is surrounded by a forest.
Few days back, the village caught wildfire. The trees and wild life was destroyed in this. It also destructed some of the houses of the villagers and cattle. But everyone is safe now.
This is how the forest looked when it caught fire. A wildfire is an uncontrolled fire that burns in the wildland vegetation, often in rural areas. Wildfires can burn in forests, grasslands, savannas, and other ecosystems, and have been doing so for hundreds of millions of years.
The main reason of wildfire in a forest are :1. Climate Change- Because warmer temperatures increase evaporation, which means the atmosphere draws more moisture from soils, making the land drier2. Low Humidity- Because warmer temperatures increase evaporation, which means the atmosphere draws more moisture from soils, making the land drier.3. Deforestation-Deforestation can cause wildfires that spread out of control because of humans burning vegetation. Smoke from these fires also interacts with clouds and the Sun to reduce further rainfall, which creates dry, fire-prone conditions
Wildfire comes under SDG Goal 13 Climate Change. this SDG goal is helping to reduce wildfire by taking necessary precautions.
We can also prevent wildfire by :1.Keep all flammable objects away from fire.2. Prevent Global warming by planting trees.3.Have firefighting tools nearby and handy.
If you are in a forest right now and it caught fire, don't worry and don't panic and find shelter . Bye !
