- Hi Mahesh, could you please help me?I am not sure how many maximum refreshment tablets I can make from some cans of regular soda and some of diet soda.
- Hi Ron.In order to find the maximum number of tablets, we need to find the HCF. I would suggest to use an easy method for that which is long division.
- OH!! I would like to learn that method.Please tell me what is the full form of HCF. Actually I am not so good in Maths!!
- That's ok Ron! Not to worry and coming to the point HCF-Highest Common Factor. To find HCF I would like to know the exact quantity of cans.
- Yeah Sure. We've got 60 cans of regular soda and 15 cans of diet soda and I am not able to find the maximum refreshment tablets that can be made from this.
- Hey that's easy. Using Long division method, you'll get 15 as the HCF of 60 and 15.

- Look! When you'll divide bigger number (60) by smaller number (15), you'll get remainder as 0 with quotient 4. Then check at what divisor we got zero. Since it was 15, so the HCF of 60 and 15 is 15.
