Storyboard Text
- The sun is a flower that blooms for only one hour.
- The children on Venus look out the window. It has been raining for the past 7 years nonstop and on this day, the rain is supposed to stop and let the sun come out and shine for an hour. A little girl named Margot sits off to the side away from the others.
- Margot is telling her poem to the class but one boy named William isn't interested.
- Guys look! Its the Sun!
- After Margot reads her poem, William goes and bullies Margot for believing that the sun will come out.
- William takes one of Margot's things and runs off with it, while Margot runs after him to try and get it back. She chases him to the closet where he pushes her into the closet and locks her in there.
- The sun actually came out and the children are joyful! They play outside in the sun and have fun forgetting all about poor Margot who needed to see the sun most.
- Not too long after, the sun goes back behind the clouds for another 7 years and it is then that the children remember about margot in the closet. They go and let her out feeling very guilty.
