Storyboard Text
London is the capital city of England. In 1666 the buildings were close together and made out of wood and thatch on the top.
oh no
After a hard days work in the bakery Thomas Farriner went to bed.
While he was sleeping something happened...
The Great Fire of London had begun! It spread from the bakery to all the houses around because they were near and there was a strong wind.
Samuel Pepys buried his cheese and wine to protect it from the fire.
People tried to put the fire out but the couldn't and it burned for five days. In the end they pulled down houses and built a new London.
