- It's been great talking to you John. Why have you decided to come here to Lourdes?
- As you can see I am in a wheel chair, you see, I have never been able to walk. I have always been faithful to God, and this place is said to heal people. Maybe it can heal me.
- For the night, Massimo and Jessica slept in one of the rooms in the hotels on the left bank of the River Gave de Pau. They had a well-rested sleep for another extraordinary day ahead of them.
- In the morning, Massimo and Jessica went to the 9:00 mass. It was a wonderful experience and they met many new people.
- After the mass Massimo and Jessica talked to some other pilgrims and why they had decided to go to Lourdes.
- It was amazing to see all the people from around the world coming to be apart of the miracle that happened in Lourdes. Everyones story was different and unique about why they came to Lourdes.
- We thoroughly enjoyed our pilgrimage to Lourdes. We learnt so much more about ourselves, others and our faith.
- Yes, it was a special time to reflect and find our values and purpose. It was an opportunity for some quiet time from the demands of daily life, to clear the head and gain a better perspective on life
- After talking to many kind people, Massimo and Jessica went off to pray at the grotto and see the spring water. It was amazing how the water could heal people. It was a very calming and peaceful moment. They felt very close to Mary at this time. Many people believe that they can be cleansed of their sins during this time, Massimo and Jessica felt as though they had been fully forgiven and were becoming the best version of themselves.
- Massimo and Jessica then collected some holy water to take home. They were never going to forget this exceptional experience. The next few days Jessica and Massimo continued to grow in their faith, went to many more masses, prayed the rosary at the grotto and went to the Chapel for confession.
- Massimo and Jessica loved their time in Lourdes. They reflected on their stay in Lourdes and would now love to go on another pilgrimage, maybe the Camino pilgrimage!
