- Kimberly decided to go to the market to buy some ingredients for their dinner. While she was buying, she recognized a familiar face. It is Karen, her friend. Its been a while since she had the chance to talk to her, so Kimberly approached Karen.
- Hey Cadey!
- Oh hey Regina! Woah I almost didn't recognize you because of your mask. It's been a while. How are you?
- I' fine. It's just that life is very stressful ever since the pandemic started.
- Oh I know right. Being forced to stay at home is difficult, I've missed the times when we were able to hangout. Well, we don't have a choice it's for our safety.
- I know, but we can't help but feel stressed right?
- Especially that my husband doesn't have any work nowadays.
- Yeah, I get what you mean.
- The struggle is real. I don't even know how to budget our money anymore. The cabbage that used to be 20 pesos, is now 30 pesos. Ugh it is very stressful.
- Oh yes, and the fact that the prices are increasing.
- I know right. My 500 pesos used to last at least 3 days, but now it can barely last for 2 days.
- Because of the pandemic everyone is having troubles with everyday life.
- Yeah right, everyone is trying to find a solution to sutain themselves.
