- Henry makes Becket Chancellor and Archbishop of Canterbury.

- Thomas Becket resigns as Chancellor!

- I Thomas Becket resign as Chancellor!
- Becket and Henry fight about the constitution of Clarendon. Becket flees to France.
- The King's court will always rule! You know that!

- The church will always rule no matter what. I am off to France.
- Henry II's son become junior king by the Archbishop of York, angering Becket. Then returns to England.

- Becket then excommunicates the Bishops involved in the Coronation of the Junior King but then is murdered by 4 knights at Canterbury Cathedral in 1170.
