The Necklace

- Mathile is crying because her husband was invited to a fancy party and she has nothing to wear. Her husband suggests to go to her friend for a necklace to go with the dress she wants to wear.
- Mathilde Goes to her friend Madame Forestier to see the necklaces she has. She sees a necklace she wants and asks her to take it and she agrees.
- They both go to the party and are having fun. Mathilde's husband is sitting down in a chair with a blanket while Mathilde is having fun with the people that are admiring her beauty.
- Later when they leave Mathilde notices that she has lost Madame Forestier's necklace. Her husband suggests telling her but Mathilde refuses she decides to find a replacement for it.
- Mathilde is working jobs and cleaning floors to pay for the necklace. she is in rags and her beauty is got. Then she end up paying it 10 years later. Giving Madame Forestier the replacement.
- One day Mathilde sees Madame Forestier still looking as beautiful as ever and with her is a little kid. Mathilde decides to tell her the truth. When Madame Forestier hears the truth she also decides to tell her that the necklace she had was a fake.
