- The foundation of my interest in and passion around sustainability stems from a core ethos of wanting to make the world a better place, instilled in my at an early age by my family. From a brother in the UN who focuses much of his efforts on climate security, to a sister who completed an Aspen First-Mover Fellowship focused on circularity, my siblings and I have all integrated this notion into our lives in one way or antoher. We all attended Waldorf elementary schools which have a heavy focus on environmental and social responsbility. A typical day at Waldorf school would involve several hours outside.
- I obtained my undergraduate degree in Finance Banking and have a Masters degree in Trust and Wealth Management. I spent 10 years in financial services/wealth management with the goal of working in sustainable investing. I got some exposure to sustainable investing, but recently made a pivot to the Corporate Responsibilty Sustainability team at a super-regional bank in an effort to take a broader approach to sustainability.
- As part of my current role as an ESG/CSR Program Manager at a super-regional bank, I support the Senior Director of Environmental Sustainability in a variety of sustainability initiatives. Our highest priority project is focused on Scope 1, 2, and 3 greenhouse gas emissions accounting, reporting, and reduction efforts. I am going through SUMA to bolster/broaden my sustainability skill set.
