Storyboard Text
okay, I'm done with my meeting. Show me what you propose for our mathematical statement
Okay ma'am
"So the quadratic inequality we can show to represent our problem is x^2 - 80x + 1500 > 0"
When we substitute it into our inequality earlier, we find that both of these roots are not solutions.
So it is 51, 31 and 0
so it becomes x^2 - 80x +1500 = 0
We solve using the quadratic formula and we get positive 50 and positive 30.
Next step, we find the closest integers to these roots.
"To solve for it, we should turn it into a quadratic equation first."
When we substitute 51 into our quadratic inequality, we can see that the solution is true.
When we substitute 0 into our quadratic inequality, we can see that the solution is true.
(+infinity, x>50] and [x<30)
For our final solution, we can get these two solutions:
When we substitute 31 into our quadratic inequality, we can see that the solution is false.
"Ohhh so that's how it is, I see. Thank you employee. I now have a solution to our problem. Thanks to you, we can avoid a case of bankruptcy."
It's no problem ma'am, I'm just trying to help.
