  • This is Ms. Mendoza's 1st-grade general education classroom. She has about 18 students in the class. Sophie is new in the School and was newly diagnosed with hearing impairment. Ms. Mendoza has tried her best to help Sophie in the class, but she continues to have difficulty.
  • Sophie seems confused
  • Ms. Mendoza is giving the students instructions regarding the reading materials and the comprehension quiz. Most student are happy listening except for Sophie.
