- Exposition-Margot was sort of an outcast, since she moved to Venus five years ago. In Venus the sun only shines every seven years and Margot misses that, whenever the topic of "sun" comes up it excites her

- Rising action-Whenever Margot talks about the sun, her classmates doesn't believe her since they were only 2 when the sun last appeared there (Margot was 4 when she moved to Venus )

- Climax-On the day that the scientists predicted that the sun was going to appear, her cruel classmates decided to lock her up in a closet while waiting for their teacher
- Falling action-While Margot was still trapped in the closet, the sun finally came out and all of them were happy when, a thunder came
- Resolution-When the children came back, one of them noticed that Margot was missing then finally they let Margot out of the closet
