Storyboard Text

  • For today's homework, you all are going to make a DNA model!. That's it for our class today. See you tomorrow!
  • This is exciting!
  • zzZZzzz....
  • How am I supposed to make a DNA model when I don't even know how it replicates?
  • Later at the same day.....
  • I need to figure out how DNA replicates . I know how! I will watch some videos from YouTube.
  • The first step of the DNA replication process is the unwinding of the Double Helix.
  • This is caused by an enzyme called Helicase. This makes the Double Stranded molecule a single-stranded. Then a Template Strand is created. The enzyme DNA Polymerase  adds Nucleotides to the new strand, thus creating the Complimentary Nitrogen Bases. Then the bases are added to Sugar Phosphate Backbone. All these steps are used to create a new DNA strand.
  • Yahoo! Now I understand everything from this video. Time to start building my DNA model.
  • I"M very impressed with your works! You'll get an A+ grade!.
  • Yes!
