- Life before going to America for west Africans was good. The Africans would live in two story mud huts and would typically be farmers, merchants. Also they would have lots of religious rules and sacred luck charms . Life was good until the British came and took away there villages, life, and hope.
- Settlers in the Middle Colonies
- When the Africans were being transported onto the boat they would be crammed and had chains put on their hands. The slaves would be rammed into small rooms and forced to eat. The British would not let them die because otherwise they would lose money. This was the torture the slaves had to face .
- Settlers in the New England Colonies
- Once the slaves were n America. Now they were put up to be able to auction and be sold. the British people would inspect the slaves to make sure they were well enough to do harsh work. This would be brutal for the slaves. All the rich men would try to get the best most muscular slaves. This is how there lives were.

- In the middle colonial region there is so much soil to farm and make crops. This is why a lot of settlers moved here. The soil produced rich crops and raise cattle here on this land. This made the farmers rich and kept the middle colonial region well. In this area there were a lot of diverse religion which made the middle region a great option.

- The new England colonial region is filled with rich farming soil and job options. This is why the settlers in the New England colonies liked there way of living. Some people were lumberjacks, fishers, shipbuilders and most importantly farmers. The farmers are so important because they produce all the natural resources for the harbors to except trades with other country . This is what life was like for the settlers in the New England colonial regions.
- The Southern region was very important back in the days because of one item. The southern region grew America's favorite cash crops . many rich men moved here because of it, if they sold it they would get paid a lot of money. The cash crop would grow on this land for its rich soil. Because of the large business they needed a lot of slaves to work over the plantation. This is why the southern region was so important.
