- Reproduction is the biological process by which new individual organisms – offspring – are produced from their parent or parents. Reproduction is a fundamental feature of all known life; each individual organism exists as the result of reproduction.
- there are two types of reproduction, the sexual and the asexual reproduction. Two parents are involved in sexual reproduction. In sexual reproduction, parents create reproductive cells called gametes, which combine to form an offspring,. A single parent is involved in asexual reproduction. It produces genetically identical babies who are genetically similar to their parents.
